Many clients come to Spencer Teen Family Program through interventions. Interventions are designed to help a teen see the destructive path he or she has chosen. The design of an intervention is to interrupt disturbing behaviors and introduce the teen into a program that will help him or her face and deal with life's problems. Once the family contacts Spencer for an intervention, a specialists comes to the home or other safe location with the family and the teen and begins the process of introducing the teen into the recovery community in order to learn how to live clean and sober and avoid destructive behavior patterns.
